A Jihadist, A British Author and The Lion King - Late last week I saw a small speech by Mark Steyn about multiculturalism, in it he also says that multiculturalists are ignorant, for example they probably wouldn’t know the capital of Sudan or Nepal or Zambia, multiculturalism promotes ignorance. Once again Steyn is spot on, this morning I read about a British children’s author, Kes Gray, who unwittingly called one of his characters “Mohammed the Mole” to promote multiculturalism, Kes Gray did this in an effort to be “inclusive”. Needless to say he has renamed the character to “Morgan”, after hearing the fate of Gillian Gibbons over in the not-so-inclusive-but-still-equal Sudan. Gun Control - Who’s the dumbass!! - Folks, we’ve progressed far into that magical land of stupidity and the tooth fairy, we no longer use nasty guns and such rudimentary tools to protect ourselves. We bought the lie told by the gun-control and weapons-fearing fools of this world, in this magical world of ours we resort to that thing called the AVO (apprehended violence order). It’s powers are magical folks, you just need to believe, until the world of the violent and evil collide with yours and you’ll find the tooth fairy and the gun-control fool isn’t around to explain their position. Since we banned guns and knives and all violence, you’d think we’d be a bit safer wouldn’t you. The following just happened over a few days, read the paper ever week and you’ll see that crime is on the rise, people are getting shot, stabbed, raped, bashed, robbed everywhere in this country. Give us our guns back -NT News [Hat-tip KG]- A DARWIN man was beaten in the head with a hammer four times when he went downstairs to defend his wife and three-month old baby from an intruder. The Saturday morning attack was the second break-in at the Malak home in recent months and the family is looking to move as soon as possible. The man, who asked to be referred to as Todd, said his wife was feeding their newborn son when she heard a noise downstairs and woke him at 2.30am on Saturday. “When I came downstairs, he came at me. I thought he was throwing punches, but the next think I knew I was looking through my own blood.” He was later taken to hospital to receive 10 staples and six stitches to his head. Todd wrestled with the intruder but he escaped - only to return 10 minutes later with a star picket. “He was yelling at me through my front door and said he was going to get me,” Todd said. Responsibility and Liberty - The other day I was reading about even more cameras that were going to be rolled out in Britain to catch speeders and other such law breakers. Just recently the Australian government announced new internet browsing restrictions. Naturally folks are angry about these infringements to their civil liberties and all that. I feel the same way about this, but I have to wonder why most of us in countries like Australia and Britain couldn’t see this coming. I’m not talking about most of my readers; most of you are naturally wary of big government and the state poking its nose into our lives. I’m talking about the rest of our countrymen, in my opinion they don’t get responsibility and liberty and unfortunately for us, they are in the majority. Continue reading Responsibility and Liberty.

Research Confirms - Leftists are Frightened, Depressed Losers -Yahoo!7 News - Young people who embrace trendy, self-focused spiritualism are more anxious and depressed than those who believe in God or reject religion altogether, a survey shows. A major Queensland study of 21-year olds suggests that the shift away from traditional religious beliefs to new-age religions is not making young adults happier. Young adults with a belief in a spiritual or higher power other than God were at more risk of poorer mental health and deviant social behaviour than those who rejected these beliefs, said study author Dr Rosemary Aird, a population health researcher at the University of Queensland.
