China & Russia against even the wet lettuce!

BBC - A draft resolution to impose sanctions on Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe and a number of his key allies has been vetoed at the UN Security Council. China and Russia both rejected the proposed measures, including a freeze on their financial assets and travel. [snip] The UK foreign secretary called China and Russia’s stance “incomprehensible”. [snip] The UK ambassador said after the vote that the UN had failed in its duty. [snip] However, Russia’s ambassador Vitaly Churkin said sanctions would have taken the UN beyond its mandate. [snip] The resolution would have imposed an arms embargo on Zimbabwe and financial and travel restrictions on President Mugabe and 13 of his top officials. It also called for a UN special envoy for Zimbabwe to be appointed.

That’s it, financial and travel restrictions on that son-of-a-whore Mugabe and some of his closest hyenas, oh and not giving them any new guns. Restrictions that are brutally imposed on the people of Zimbabwe every bloody day. America and Britain weren’t calling for Mugabe to lose his hands or burn him or put his head on a stake in Harare like he deserves and has done to his people, they were calling for some lousy sanctions and for Mugabe not to be allowed to travel the world or something, that’s it. A small amount of discomfort, yet China and Russia wouldn’t stand for even that. Well, I suppose since both have killed tens of millions of their own people without batting an eyelid, a couple of thousand Africans wouldn’t even raise an eyebrow. It’s too much for both wicked sons of bitches to just stand by and let one so like themselves get the wet lettuce eh. Shame on both.

The brutality of Africa

IHT - Discrimination against albinos is a serious problem throughout sub-Saharan Africa, but recently in Tanzania it has taken a wicked twist: At least 19 albinos, including children, have been killed and mutilated in the past year, victims of what Tanzanian officials say is a growing criminal trade in albino body parts. Many people in Tanzania - and across Africa, for that matter - believe albinos have magical powers. They stand out, often the lone white face in a black crowd, a result of a genetic condition that impairs normal skin pigmentation and affects about 1 in 3,000 people here.

Yahoo!7 News - Eccentric Gambian President Yahya Jammeh has threatened to behead gays unless they leave the country, according to reports. “The Gambia is a country of believers … sinful and immoral practices (such) as homosexuality will not be tolerated in this country,” the president told a crowd at a political rally on May 15, local journalists told AFP on Thursday.

He went on to say he would “cut off the head” of any gay person caught in The Gambia. [snip] “We have said it before and we will say it again. This is a Muslim and Christian country. Both the Koran and the holy Bible condemn homosexuality - pure and simple,” the paper wrote on Monday. [snip]

“Muslim and Christian”, hang on there just a minute old son, a bit of venom should be directed at Yahoo!7 as well for just swallowing that. Thanks Yahoo, glad to know you slimeballs are on our side. Sounds like it’s half Christian and half Muslim or something doesn’t it. I can see lefties licking their chops with their wild fantasies about the religious right coming true. Let me quickly put some facts in the way of their wild fantasies.

CIA World Factbook - Muslim 90%, Christian 9%, indigenous beliefs 1%

Even the notorious Wikipedia has similar stats, so you can shelve the wild, CIA-mind-control conspiracy theories while you’re at it. The Bible does condemn homosexuality, but you’d be hard-pressed to find any Christian leaders in the world calling for the beheading of homosexuals or stringing them up from the nearest crane, besides we’re not the religion of peace and tolerance. This does raise more questions about the supposed tolerance and peace that we’re always told Islam is famous for though, but I’m sure the left will have plenty of excuses to explain this fellow’s madness away.

The bastard’s not going willingly

April 7, 2008 at 12:38 pm | In Africa, Dictators, Parasites, Police-State, Zimbabwe | 3 Comments

Yahoo! News - For a few brief moments, Zimbabweans suffering under the authoritarian rule of Robert Mugabe allowed themselves a rare burst of optimism after their longtime president suffered what appeared to be a devastating electoral loss. But ruling party stalwarts and security chiefs — worried about their own fates in a post-Mugabe era — quickly dug in their heels, and Mugabe now appears poised to do everything he can to extend his 28-year rule. “There’s a political hardening by the political elite of the ruling party,” said Eldred Masunungure, a political analyst at the University of Zimbabwe. “They’re in a panic mode.”

Though opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai has promised Mugabe a peaceful retirement, fears of violence against government opponents have grown as security forces and ruling party thugs took to the streets in the days after the March 29 election. But eight days after the presidential vote, election officials still have not released the results, and the mood in the country has turned dark. Riot police have flooded the streets, manned roadblocks, closed beer halls and ordered people to stay home at night. Intruders raided opposition offices, and police arrested foreign journalists. Feared war veterans — used in the past to beat up opponents — marched through downtown Harare.

Like I said the other day, don’t break out the champagne yet, it ain’t over till the bastards dead or actually dragged out. It’s just the way with these vermin, they never go willingly, the longer you let them have power, the longer it’ll take to get them out and the more painful it’ll be.

Ain’t over till the old bastard is gone or dead

Daily Mail - A crackdown on Robert Mugabe’s rivals began in Zimbabwe last night, as he tried to cling to power. Five days after the presidential elections which he is thought to have lost, police ransacked offices of the opposition party in a Harare hotel. Officers in riot gear also raided another hotel used by foreign journalists and arrested at least two reporters. The brazen assault on democracy and press freedom came as dictator Mugabe made his first appearance since casting his votes on Saturday. It could be ominous sign that Mugabe might turn to intimidation and violence in trying to stave off an electoral threat to his 28-year rule.

We’ve been hearing news since the beginning of the week that he would lose and change was coming, but I refrained from posting about this or getting excited because with these bastards, it ain’t over till he’s either dead or literally dragged out of power. It’s the only language they understand.

Masai warriors meet the PC weasels

April 2, 2008 at 7:05 pm | In Africa, Britain, Crime, Culture, Leftists, Liberty | 2 Comments

Daily Mail - Six Masai warriors running the London Marathon have been warned that hunting lions will seem easy compared to dealing with the English. The men, who are making their first trip to Britain from their remote village in Tanzania, have been given a four-page cultural briefing of dos and don’ts. Among this list - The tribesmen are also given a rundown on how to deal with criminals. “If someone was to see a thief and chase after him and, when they catch him they hurt him, then the person who hurt the thief would go to prison as well as the thief,” it explains.

And it never occurs to the stupid PC weasels that this might be why some of us gun/weapon-’free’ countries have such a problem with violent crime. Even if the Masai were to try and explain to the stupid PC weasels how to deal with criminal scum, they’ll never listen to these savages from Africa, however ‘noble’. The PC weasels will just pet the Masai on the head and tell them to run the race and go back to their village with their crazy ideas about liberty. Wouldn’t want the sheeple here to get any ideas now would we, the PC weasels wouldn’t be able to push us around and stay in control if we were free men would they, they don’t like that, the sniveling parasites.

Democracy - Mugabe style

Thanks to allAfrica - Government has put security forces on alert ahead of elections tomorrow to quell anticipated disturbances if President Robert Mugabe wins. Security sources said Zimbabwe’s military and police forces have been placed on alert ready to act after poll results are announced. Opposition leaders yesterday said government is likely to rig the elections. They said they have unearthed overwhelming evidence of manipulation of elections. Mugabe has warned he would crush any anti-government demonstrations. State Security minister Didymus Mutasa also said government would deal with protestors. Police on Tuesday said they would ruthlessly deal with any mass action.

The Age - Mohammed Hamdan, pointed at the weapons and vehicles inside his camp in Darfur. “All the hardware that we have — where did we get it from?” he said. “Do you think we just ‘magicked’ it out of the air? It belongs to the Government.” With those words, he destroyed a myth carefully crafted by Sudan’s regime. Hamdan spoke near a Toyota LandCruiser, mounted with a heavy machine-gun, and his fighters were armed with mortars, anti-aircraft guns and Kalashnikov rifles. “The weapons, the cars, all that you see, we got it from the Government,” he said.

Getting too close for comfort

February 12, 2008 at 9:40 pm | In Africa, Corruption | 1 Comment

BBC - South Africa’s security minister has tabled a proposal in parliament calling for the FBI-style Scorpions special investigations unit to be disbanded. The Scorpions was set up in 1999 to fight organised crime and corruption and works separately from the police. It has led the investigations into African National Congress leader Jacob Zuma and ex-police chief Jackie Selebi. The BBC’s Peter Greste in Johannesburg says the unit is one of the most effective crime fighting forces in South Africa but it has become embroiled in a bitter political row.

That’s Africa folks, when the cops get too good and too close for comfort, they get ‘reassigned’ suddenly. You see, not all are equal before the law, some if not many are more equal. Now don’t forget, all cultures are equal, if not more equal, and all that.

Deutsche Welle - The European Union’s foreign ministers gave the order to launch the EU’s security mission to Chad and the Central African Republic, putting an end to months of wrangling. France is slated to contribute the most troops. At their regular monthly meeting, the union’s 27 foreign ministers on Monday, Jan. 28, authorized the force’s commander, Lt. Gen. Patrick Nash, to order the deployment of his troops. “In conducting this operation the EU is stepping up its long-standing action in support of efforts to tackle the crisis in Darfur and to address its regional ramifications,” the foreign ministers said in a statement. The savages won’t get their blood, for now

November 29, 2007 at 8:22 pm | In Africa, Islam, Justice Denied, Outrageous, Sharia Law | No Comments

Daily Mail - A British teacher accused of insulting Muslims after her class called a teddy bear Mohammed was found guilty and jailed for 15 days, a defence lawyer said tonight. Gillian Gibbons, 54, was ordered to be deported after she had completed her sentence. Robert Boulos, head of Unity high school where Gibbons worked, said: “We are happy with the verdict. It is fair. There were a lot of political pressures and attention.” He added: “We will be very sad to lose her.”

I read last night that some of the savages were calling for her execution, so much tolerance ey. Oh well, I’m thankful the poor woman didn’t get the 40 lashes, she just has to hang in there for 10 more days and she’ll be on her way home, having experienced the peace, tolerance and love of Islam in all it’s glory. Unfortunately with the way things are going back home, I hope she won’t assume that this sort of thing could never happen in Britain. Now, you will remember that all cultures are equal and you lot are just the same as these savages in Sudan, won’t you.

Remember that British schoolteacher, poor woman who went to Sudan to help, to educate little children, she did the best she could, tried to be as tolerant and sensitive as possible. We’re constantly told that Islam means peace, tolerance, flowers and all sorts of wonderful things, so you’d think they’d just forgive and forget a silly mistake. Sorry folks, don’t believe the leftist/Muslim lies, there is no peace, no tolerance, no forgiveness or gratitude from these savages. You think they’d release her and kick her out of the country post haste, but no, none of that, the savages are outside the gate, they want blood and will settle for nothing less.

Those friendly, tolerant, peaceful Muslims again

Reuters - A British primary school teacher has been arrested in Sudan, accused of insulting Islam’s Prophet by letting her class of 7-year-olds name a teddy bear Mohammed, her school said on Monday. Colleagues of Gillian Gibbons, aged 54 from Liverpool, told Reuters they feared for her safety after receiving reports that young men had already started gathering outside the Khartoum police station where she was being held.

We killed you for 20 years, now you come to help

November 26, 2007 at 3:51 pm | In Africa, Christianity, Persecution | 1 Comment

AP - When Rebecca Mabior left Sudan, she was filled with bitterness toward the Arab Muslims who mistreated her throughout her childhood because she was a black Christian. Some of her teachers “were calling me like I’m a bad person because I was a Christian,” she said. “They didn’t know how bad an effect that had on me. Because I grew up hating them.” Mabior is among about 3,000 Sudanese Christians and 200 Sudanese Muslims who relocated to the Kansas City area because of the violence that has plagued Sudan since its independence in 1956.

Now, despite her experiences, Mabior said she plans to leave her husband and 3-year-old son in the Kansas City suburb of Gladstone for a month to teach English to Muslims who have fled the violence around the Darfur area. A small Lenexa-based group called Sudan Sunrise is organizing the teaching trip. She and another Sudanese refugee, Ruben Lual of Houston, plan to teach at the Djabal refugee camp in southeastern Chad, beginning in January. The teaching effort springs from Sudan Sunrise’s guiding principle, that the only way to achieve peace and democracy in Sudan is to convince all tribes, religions and regions to forgive each other and reconcile. Let’s hope it gets better

November 22, 2007 at 10:37 pm | In Africa, Zimbabwe | No Comments

BBC - South Africa’s President Thabo Mbeki says he is “very confident” that mediation will produce a solution for Zimbabwe’s political crisis. He was speaking after talks with President Robert Mugabe and opposition officials in the Zimbabwean capital. There has been a virtual news blackout around the South African-mediated talks but sources suggest they have agreed four of the five points on the agenda. The sticking point is the last issue - the political climate. MDC leader Mr Tsvangirai also said there had been notable progress. He said he was confident that the agenda set through the South Africa-led mediation would address the fundamental concerns around elections due next year.

I don’t have much faith in reasoning with Mugabe, but if it works, then so be it, wouldn’t hold my breath on it though.

Apartheid wasn’t soo bad

Calm down with the ‘Nazi’ and ‘Racist’ chanting, it’s not me OK, so no need to burn effigies of me in the streets. They report, you decide.

IOL - Unemployed and casual workers were better off under the apartheid government than they are now, said Zwelinzima Vavi, the general secretary of the Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu), on Saturday. He said inequality had widened in the past 13 years, with a minority of capitalists and bureaucrats getting richer. “Many of the millions who are unemployed, or whose jobs have been casualised, are even worse off than under apartheid. Around 20 million of our people are still mired in poverty. We still face many challenges and the task of transformation is far from complete,” he told the 20th anniversary celebrations of the South African Municipal Workers Union in Cape Town.

While leftist morons in the west, whine about peace through bending over and grabbing ankles, online petitions, banning guns and plain old nagging, not to mention hating the US Armed Forces and trying to screw them over at every turn like hobbling the funds they need. Those same men and women in the United States armed forces are enforcing peace through superior firepower.

FOXNews - American warships battled pirates Tuesday who had seized a tanker off the coast of Somalia as well as another vessel northeast of Mogadishu, combined reports said. In the waters off Somalia, the warships reportedly sunk two pirate vessels and pursued a hijacked skiff carrying some of the fleeing hijackers. The crew of the tanker Golden Mori, which was hijacked Sunday night, reportedly fought back and overpowered their attackers, regaining control of the vessel, maritime officials said.

So what’s the problem?

October 22, 2007 at 12:35 pm | In Africa, Politics | No Comments

EU Observer - Leading NGOs have called for Sudan’s president to be barred from attending the EU-Africa summit in December, while EU capitals continue to be divided over what to do with Zimbabwean leader Robert Mugabe. Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir’s presence at the summit in Lisbon “could be interpreted as a legitimisation of atrocities committed by the Khartoum regime in Darfur,” said Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and Oxfam International on Friday (19 October), according to AFP. The call came as EU leaders gathered in Lisbon on Thursday and Friday for an informal meeting, where renewed signs of divisions on the controversial issue of Mr Mugabe’s attendance at the same summit emerged.
