Jonah Goldberg – …For example, the London Telegraph reports that, in what was supposed to be a medical lecture, [Fort Hood killer, Nidal Malik] Hasan instead gave an hour-long briefing on the Koran, explaining to colleagues at Walter Reed Army Medical Center that nonbelievers should be beheaded, have boiling oil poured down their throats, and be set on fire. …According to ABC News, intelligence agencies were aware for months that Hasan had tried to contact al-Qaeda. His colleagues reportedly knew he sympathized with suicide bombings and attacks on U.S. troops abroad, and one colleague said Hasan was pleased by an attack on an Army recruiting office and suggested more of the same might be desirable.
…For many people, the idea that he is a Muslim fanatic, motivated by other Muslim fanatics, was — at least initially — too terrible to contemplate. How else to explain the reflexive insistence after the attack that the real culprit was post-traumatic stress disorder? The fact that PTSD is usually diagnosed in people who’ve been through trauma (hence the “post”), and that Hasan had never seen combat, didn’t seem to matter much.
Apparently the “P” in PTSD can now stand for “pre.”
…Despite reports that Hasan had shouted “Allahu Akbar!” as he opened fire, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews insisted that “we may never know if religion was a factor at Fort Hood.” Thursday night, NBC and CBS declined to mention that Hasan is a Muslim. Meanwhile, ABC’s Martha Raddatz’s reporting on the subject reflected a yearning for denial: “As for the suspect, Nadal Hasan, as one officer’s wife told me, ‘I wish his name was Smith.’”
Despite all the evidence screaming its lungs out that the bastard was a muslim extremist, a violent jihadist hell-bent on mass murder of infidels, the left still can’t bring themselves to acknowledge the jihadist scumbag before them brandishing the gun. No, no, they can only see a Christian crusader, the tooth-fairy, santa claus, harry potter or the freaking elves from lala land!
Just the other day another 30 were blown to bloody pieces by a car bomb in Pakistan, it must have been the falun gong people. Read the whole damn article and you’ll see, around 2500 people have been murdered so far by muslim terrorists in the name of islam in Pakistan. You could pile all those corpses outside the homes of these leftist vipers and they’d still stand outside and tell you, oh wow, look at all these bodies, how terrible, gee I wonder who could have done this, got a real head-scratcher here folks, can’t jump to any conclusions, best launch some sort of tax-payer funded investigation to try and determine what on earth is going on.
Only two conclusions you can come to on this, the left is either bone-stupid and fried in their heads, which is entirely possible and so they should withdraw from the public sphere as their stupidity is a dangerous hindrance to our very survival. Or, this is more evidence that there is a war being waged against the western world by islamist terrorists and they are being aided and supported by the traitorous western left.

I clearly recall the moment when I realized what the 9/11 jihadists wanted! For years, I, too, didn’t want to contemplate the too-terrible-to-believe truth.
Sadly, 9/11 hasn’t been enough of a wake-up call for many of my clients. They still have their heads in the sand.

September 11, 2001 was it for me. It was like an awakening. Too bad it was not that way for many others.

I really can’t get over it, Nanc! The entire thing could have been prevented. The scumbag shouldn’t even have been in the Army to begin with, but since he was, and since it was known at Walter Reed just where his sympathies lie, he never should have been transferred to Walter Reed. I have proof in today’s post that officials at Walter Reed passed the buck to Fort Hood because it was such a lengthy process to expel a medical doctor at Walter Reed and also because Fort Hood had more psychiatrists than Walter Reed and they thought they’d be better equipped to handle him. What a cop out! This entire thing makes me so angry I’m beside myself!

This all reminded me of a scene in the movie Independence Day, the part where the president is communicating with the alien critter at Area 51. He asks what we could do, a way to work together; instead he learns that all they want is to eliminate all humans, that’s it.
So it is with the Muslims at war with infidels, all they want is to eliminate all infidels. They don’t want to work things out or see if we can work together in peace. And yet the media sees them as nothing more than victims of Western aggression.

Muslim soldiers that take the oath to join the militry means absolutely nothing no matter what they say. Even though they swear to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic. Hasan took that oath, and it proved meaningless. In fact, the more devout a Muslim is, the more likely he/she is to lie, since lying to the infidel (anyone who does not worship Allah) to advance the cause of Islam is commended, not just permitted, in the Koran.

Heads should roll, MK– it was obvious that this guy was unstable and a Muzzie extremist, and no one did anything. Why didn’t they? Because they were afraid they’d be accused of discrimination.

Indeed Leticia and when you really examine the koran, it’s hard to find any depravity that’s not sanctioned.
