How else would you treat a weasel

Posted by MK on November 15, 2008

LiveNews – The leaking of a telephone conversation between Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and US President George W Bush seems to have taken the gloss off their once-chummy relationship. As he joined other world leaders for dinner at the White House, the prime minister received a rather perfunctory greeting from the US president during what was their first meeting since a controversy erupted in Australia over the alleged diplomatic breach.

……The president remained impassive as he briefly shook Mr Rudd’s hand, barely looking the prime minister in the eye before turning to the cameras and television crews. And, as they entered the White House, it was Mr Rudd who tried to add some warmth to the moment, patting the US leader on the back. The encounter was a far cry from the friendly and jovial press conference the pair gave in the prestigious East Room of the White House in March on Mr Rudd’s first visit to the US as prime minister.

We are extremely lucky that it was a Democrat who got elected, I’m sure they feel the same way as Rudd feels about George Bush and also have no sense of decency whatsoever, so they won’t be too upset over our PM’s embarrassing behavior.

I’m sure if it had been a Republican who won the election, they wouldn’t forget what Rudd did. I just hope he has the brains to realize the bad situation he just avoided and will learn from this and not make the same embarrassing mistake as our Prime Minister again.

So when I hear someone say that all liberals are alike, they must mean worldwide. It seems that your liberals are just as bad as our liberals. Rudd reminds me of Al Gore, and that is no compliment!

They are joe, some of them even share their talking points, you know when hussein was waffling on about working families and all that, the ones here say the same thing. Just with less ‘cool’ and ‘hip’. Even there you Americans lead us. :)
