FOX News – An English-language Web site that unabashedly promotes the work of Islamic terrorists has responded to a FOXNews.com profile of the site by assailing “the Kuffaar behind FOX News.” Kuffaar, roughly translated, means “unbelievers.” After quoting FOX News.com’s Friday story and citing verses from the Koran, the Revolution.Muslimpad.com blog affirms the belief that jihad is “an Islaamic obligation” rooted in Muslim texts. [snip]
The site also decries what it calls a double standard toward terrorists, comparing the attacks of Sept. 11 with the U.S. bombing of Hiroshima during World War II. [snip] Its list of 63 top “scholars of Islam” and people to “take knowledge from” contained mostly known terrorists — including Usama bin Laden and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. The site provides links to their works, all translated into English.
I guess these are just more Muslims who just don’t understand the true meaning of ‘Jihad’ folks. Congrats are in order for FOX News, not only have they invoked the wrath of the loony left, but they’ve also managed to piss off terrorist coddling swine. And leftists wonder why we keep accusing them being terrorist coddling slimeballs, they seem to share so many common values.

The Australian – Analysis commissioned by private health insurers found almost a million people would drop their private health cover under changes to the Medicare thresholds – twice the amount the government had estimated. The states would have to pick up the slack, paying an extra $1.76 billion over the next four years, according to the analysis conducted by Pricewaterhouse Coopers. Mr Swan rejected the analysis. “I don’t accept the validity about the modelling,” he told Channel Ten this morning. “We haven’t seen their modelling, they haven’t given it to the government.”
Yeah, blah, blah, can someone ask the states what they think of all this. It’s they who are responsible for our socialized health system and they are constantly lying that it’s all good, the waiting lists are down and they are doing their best to hire more spin doctors and bureaucrats to bullsh*t us around. Let’s see if they share Swannie’s confidence in his half-baked theories.

IHT – Senator Barack Obama on Friday criticized Senator John McCain, his potential rival for the presidency, and President George W. Bush for what he called “dishonest and divisive” attacks in hinting that he would appease terrorists. Obama responded strongly Friday to the comments Bush made in Israel on Thursday and to McCain’s subsequent words. At a town hall meeting here, Obama said: “That’s the kind of hypocrisy that we’ve been seeing in our foreign policy, the kind of fear-peddling, fear-mongering that has prevented us from actually making us safer.”
So B. Hussein Obama is saying that the current administration’s policy is not making America any safer and he is very angry that they are saying he will appease terrorists. One could argue that a terrorist, Jew-hating organisation of slimeballs like Hamas wouldn’t have endorsed B. Hussein Obama because he was going to ground them into the dirt and tear them limb from limb, but apparently that’s just not valid. Then B. Hussein Obama proceeds to shoot himself in the foot.
Obama said McCain had a “naïve and irresponsible belief that tough talk from Washington will somehow cause Iran to give up its nuclear program and support for terrorism.”
So the current administration’s policy of ‘tough talk’ is naive and irresponsible and will not work, so will soft talk work then? He doesn’t say, only that he is not soft on terrorists and so I’m assuming, he won’t soft talk to them. Maybe he has a different brand of tough talk and this rather unique brand will work, sure. It’s a good thing for B. Hussein that liberals aren’t very clever and blindly follow their sweet-sounding leaders. Image from Terra.com

Reuters – Five armed men burst into the small room and courtyard at dawn, just as 21-year-old, 22-week pregnant, Sunita was drying her face on a towel. They punched and kicked her stomach as she called out for her sleeping boyfriend “Jassa”, 22-year-old Jasbir Singh, witnesses said. When he woke, both were dragged into waiting cars, driven away and strangled.
Their bodies, half-stripped, were laid out on the dirt outside Sunita’s father’s house for all to see, a sign that the family’s “honor” had been restored by her cold-blooded murder. A week later, the village of Balla, just a couple of hours drive from India’s capital New Delhi, stands united behind the act, proud, defiant almost to a man.
Among the Jat caste of the conservative northern state of Haryana, it is taboo for a man and woman of the same village to marry. Although the couple were not related, they were seen in this deeply traditional society as brother and sister. “From society’s point of view, this is a very good thing,” said 62-year-old farmer Balwan Arya, sitting smoking a hookah in the shade of a tree in a square with other elders from the village council or panchayat. “We have removed the blot.”
Would be nice to set up a gallows in the town square and starting hanging all that old barbarity out of them eh. Apparently the father confessed to the murders, a good place to start would be with him but apparently it’s a bit hard for the authorities to enforce the law. I guess it’s much easier just to let it go on and look the other way, until it’s one of them caught up in all of it I suppose.
