I took up sailing after a parachuting accident left me knocked about for life . No ones fault but mine . I marvel at the courage of those long gone men . I wish some of the self indulgent literati , Islingtons finest opium eaters could realise that courage and manliness matter to young men. Self reliance, doing what is right ,loyalty, honouring the old and showing respect should matter . Being snotty about "imperialism " and looking down your nose at (some) traditions , over indulging religious , sexual and ethnic minorities is patronising drivel . to hell with feminism and political correctness . boys need Men to show them the way to become honourable just as girls need hte love freely given of older wiser women .
