America Bears Left

January 31, 2008 at 11:49 pm | In America, Politics | 4 Comments

BBC - California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has officially endorsed John McCain’s bid to become the Republican candidate for US president. The governor called Mr McCain “a great American hero”. The Republican front-runner has had a good week, winning the Florida primary and then securing the support of Rudy Giuliani, who has now quit the race. Appearing alongside Mr McCain at a solar panel production plant in California, Mr Schwarzenegger said he was supporting the Arizona senator for president, partly because he was “a crusader for protecting the environment”.

When the media and RINO’s starting backing a ‘Conservative’, we had better start getting worried. You’d think that illegal immigration and the war on the Islamists would be high on the agenda, but it seems not. Perhaps Americans like their taxes funding illegals or something. Perhaps they’ve forgotten those who died in New York. Perhaps they want to cough up more in taxes to save the planet. The way it’s looking, Americans will have to choose between a Socialist, a Mad Socialist and a slightly right of left candidate. Perhaps too many Americans have forgotten that much of the planet is a dark and dangerous place and flirting with leftist ideology has painful consequences. Image thanks to bear-left.

Good End to the Week - Another Scumbag Dead

SFGate - Abu Laith al-Libi, a top al-Qaida commander in Afghanistan who was blamed for bombing a base while Vice President Cheney was visiting last year, has been killed in Pakistan, according to a militant Web site. Al-Libi was a key link between the Taliban and al-Qaida and was one of the Americans’ 12 most-wanted men with a bounty of $200,000 on his head.

Earlier in the week we got news that a missile brought fire and pestilence upon 12 jihadists in Pakistan, now this, it is unconfirmed but they are saying he was caught up in that strike earlier in the week. Either way, t’was a good start to the week and it looks like a fitting end to the week.

Get Lost Omelet

SMH - Israel’s war on Lebanon in 2006 was a serious failure for the Jewish state, according to a long-awaited report on the conflict that is expected to pile the pressure on Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to quit. “This war was a big and serious failure,” retired judge Eliyahu Winograd said as he read out his government-appointed commission’s final report, adding that there was a “great deal of failure at senior political and military levels”. The report comes nine months after an interim inquiry found Olmert and other political and military leaders responsible for “severe failures” after launching the war against Lebanon’s Hezbollah militia in July 2006. Olmert, 62, was the only senior leader criticised in the commission’s preliminary report to have hung on to his job and had been quoted as saying ahead of the report that he had “absolutely no intention” of stepping down.

It would be real nice of ole omelet (as fellow blogger Angel refers to him as) to just take a walk out of his office and just forget the way back and simply get lost in the streets. But then he is a leftie, they have thick skins folks and if nothing else, rest assured, lefties usually work tirelessly to undermine their nation. He will not go willingly, he’ll have to be pushed and shoved out the door. Image thanks to Spiegel Online.

Who’s Sledging Who?

By AR - Neil Harvey, the former Test cricketer and member of the 1948 “Invincibles” weighs in on the latest cricket-sledging controversy by declaring Ponting’s team, “a pack of morons”. Nice sledge, Neil. The controversy was sparked by a member of the Indian cricket team calling one of our finest players a “monkey” a racial insult which was witnessed by another Australian player. It has been explained that the insult was delivered in the Indian player’s native tongue and only sounds like “monkey”. The actual insult was “motherfucker,” so I guess that’s all right then. Apparently this is an ad by an airline company Ryanair, and apparently it’s caused some sort of kerfuffle … I couldn’t concentrate, sorry, I haven’t done my homework, perhaps the two of us need to be sent to detention to think about what we’ve done.

Update - Due to angry email requests, I’ve added a picture with… em… more clarity and detail, I don’t know why but …. er…. some of my more boisterous readers wanted to know how many tables and chairs were in that picture, so who am I to deny them, hope that clears things up guys.

Soft on Pedophiles

News.com.au - VICTORIAN police are hunting for a child sex offender who has jumped bail. Ross Eames, 49, was due in the Melbourne County Court today for a hearing application for an extended supervision order but failed to appear. “A warrant has been issued for his arrest for breach of the Serious Sex Offender Monitoring Act,” Victoria Police spokeswoman Katherine Jess said. “Mr Eames’s bail conditions include a curfew between 7pm and 7am (AEDT) and it was during this time authorities were alerted that he was gone.”

Would have been nice if he was languishing in jail, but I guess we don’t do things like that down under, non-mean justice and all that. Much rather he skipped bail and parents and children are left defenseless and to fend for themselves than treat the scum like the scum they are.

The Life of the Battery Hen

Daily Mail - Britain is closer to becoming a Big Brother society after it was revealed the security services and other agencies requested permission to carry out almost 1,000 bugging operations a day. In total, the intelligence services, plus police forces, local authorities and agencies such as the serious fraud office made 253,500 requests for phone taps, the interception of emails or post in the final nine months of 2006. The report, by the Interception of Communications Commissioner Sir Paul Kennedy - a former appeal court judge - found that more than 1,000 bugging operations had been flawed. With Britain already possessing the highest density of CCTV cameras per person anywhere in the world, Labour MP David Winnick, a member of the Commons home affairs committee, said greater legal protection is needed to prevent abuse of surveillance powers. FOXNews - A mastermind pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a plot to kidnap a Muslim member of the Armed Forces from Birmingham City Center and behead him “like a pig,” the Times of London reports. Parviz Khan, 38, a charity worker who allegedly sent funds and equipment to terror organizations on the Pakistan-Afghan border, and suspected Islamic extremists belonging to his group pleaded guilty in connection with the plot.

“He was enraged by the idea that there are Muslim soldiers in the British army,” said Nigel Rumfitt, of the prosecution. According to testimony, Khan, with the help of drug dealers, had planned to kidnap a soldier and film his beheading to “cause panic and fear within the British armed forces and the wider public,” Rumfitt said. He was arrested last year during counter-terrorism raids. Continue reading Dangerous Side-Effects of Multiculturalism…

The attack occurred after midnight in Khushali Torikhel, a village in North Waziristan, a tribal region bordering Afghanistan, an intelligence and a government official in the region said.

Similar incidents happened in the last 3 weeks, usually the beginning of the week is depressing because you have to start work but I’m starting to like the early part of the week, all those Jihadists sent to paradise and more of us will be spared their hate and bile, win-win I think.

Muzzling even those who try to speak for those who cannot

January 29, 2008 at 1:16 am | In Abortion, Free Speech, Government Meddling | 3 Comments

Reuters - An Arizona agency wrongly denied an anti-abortion group permission to print their message “Choose Life” on license plates, a federal appeals court ruled on Monday. The Arizona License Plate Commission allows nonprofit groups to highlight their cause on license plates, but the commission in 2002 and 2003 denied the Arizona Life Coalition permission for a specialty plate with the “Choose Life” slogan. The Arizona Life Coalition alleged that the denial violated their First Amendment rights to free speech and a three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals agreed.

It is certainly a bad sign for mankind when those, who want to protect the unborn and allow them a chance at life, have to fight and go to court to be allowed to spread their message. It’s like protecting the unborn is now a bad thing. I wonder if this agency would deny some criminal-coddling group the right to print a message against the death penalty, I’m thinking NO, since those are the evil and murderous whose lives are being ended. Yeah I know, up is down now.

‘Mr Rudd remembered the chant “Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if Thommo don’t get you, then Lillee must”, but mostly he remembered 42-year-old Colin Cowdrey - called to duty from England to halt the carnage - walking onto the field and going up to Thomson to shake the hand of the man who was going to hurt him.’ Continue reading Baron von Ruddchausen…

A group of eight boys aged 12 to 13 were playing in school grounds earlier this month when the 26-year-old man, who teaches at a different school, approached them, Kyodo news agency said. The knife touched one boy, causing minor injuries, it said. The teacher is also suspected of taking a mobile phone from one of the boys and making nuisance calls to his home afterwards, Kyodo said.

Despite their small number of aircraft, the 1st Battalion, 52nd Aviation Regiment has handled a large workload since beginning operations in August. With greater capacity, the Army’s Chinooks have spared the Marine Corps’ aircraft approximately 28,000 passengers and almost 2 million pounds of cargo. “They just needed something to fill the gaps until they could get another stateside unit into the rotation,” said Capt. News.com.au - CHILDREN as young as three are being taught anti-racism lessons as part of the first NSW Government-funded program designed to stamp out bigotry from a young age. The program will be rolled out at a preschool in western NSW and youngsters will be given regular lessons in tolerance and multiculturalism. The move comes as NSW councils investigate implementing a similar program across all council-funded daycare centres across the state. The Menindee Children’s Centre, in the state’s Far West, has just received a $4000 grant to launch the first State Government-funded program of its kind. She said the centrepiece of the program would be regular discussions about racism. “It is the biggest part of the program, it will be about teaching tolerance and positive diversity every day,” she said. Premier Morris Iemma said it was necessary to teach our youngest about tolerance.

Sure Morris, in reality what he means is, you WILL tolerate all, you WILL accept all, you WILL accept all religions, you WILL accept all cultures, you WILL accept all blame for past ills, you WILL accept all lifestyles and everything else they tell you to. From a young age, the elites will have your children Australia, to mould and make into good little sheeple, told what to think, told what to feel, told what to say. I told you, leftists will never forgive you for being born, if they can’t kill you before you’re born, godless help them, they’ll make you wish you were never born for the rest of your life. And before you all get worked up, rest assured it’s targeted at whitey, nobody gives a damn if someone yells white C@#$. Pretty soon folks, like you get a reminder to turn up to vote every so often, in your life time you’ll get a notice saying - according to our records, you didn’t partake in the annual multi-cultural kumbaya festival or you didn’t say Islam is peace and all cultures are equal, so we’d like you to report for a 3 week positive-diversity course, or else.

Charlize, It’s “Turkey”… Like Your Film

January 25, 2008 at 7:13 pm | In Celebrities, Guest Contributor | 3 Comments

By AR - Charlize Theron got her geography mixed up when she was out promoting her film appearing in the Istanbul Film Festival. She thought she was in Budapest which is of course in Hungary.

Big deal? Well, it’s kinda funny because Istanbul is in Turkey and that’s how you’d describe the film Charlize was promoting. In The Valley Of Elah is one of those vile flicks that purports to sympathise with the troops but really wants to exploit them by showing how damaged they are from the brutal realities of war.

And perhaps not unexpectedly, the movie is a big flop-a-roo.
The movie-going public aren’t fools.

Daily Mail - A survey from one of the country’s top universities has revealed students who have the most sex get the worst results. The online study published in the student magazine Varsity asked over a thousand members in various colleges at Cambridge University in depth about their sex lives. It revealed students at poorly-performing colleges are more likely to be sleeping around. Students studying medicine are among those who have the most sexual partners compared to mathematicians who had the fewest.

Much loathed (by leftists obviously) American columnist Ann Coulter, once said something along lines of, the secret to getting out of poverty is to keep your legs closed. Naturally, this is too simple for stupid leftists, so they need a few thousand dollars/pounds to be spent on expensive research to find out what Coulter said for free. Well folks, the results are in and it’s official, if you want good grades, keep your legs closed. You could apply that to most other things, but I guess we haven’t spent a lot of money conducting the necessary research, so it would be foolish to rely on common sense, wouldn’t it. News.com.au - Transport Minister John Watkins announced the contract with Integrated Transit Solutions Ltd (ITSL) to develop the Tcard was cancelled at 1pm (AEDT) because of repeated delays. He said the Government would now pursue a damages claim through the courts to try to recoup as much of the $95 million of taxpayers money spent on the failed project as possible. Opposition Leader Barry O’Farrell said after the Tcard, Mr Watkins should be the next to go, because he had misled the public over the project. “Mr Watkins told voters ahead of the state election that the Tcard project was on track, everything was going well and integrated ticketing would be delivered by this company - clearly that was a lie,” he said.

It’s been 10 years folks, we waited for 10 long years, this government has been running the joint for 10 years, they’ve spent 95 million dollars of our money and have nothing. Zero, zilch, zip, not a damn thing to show for it. Only a leftie like Watkins will stick around and tell us with a straight face that he’s got our best interests at heart, clearly he also has the skin of an African Rhino.

News.com.au - The Drum Theatre in the outer south eastern suburb of Dandenong will host the premiere of Haneef: The Interrogation. The two-man play is based on edited transcripts from the interrogation of Dr Haneef, who was last year arrested under new anti-terrorism laws. Writer Graham Pitts said he was driven to create the play because he felt the Haneef case highlighted a culture of fear cultivated by new anti-terrorism laws. “I thought, `I’ve had enough of this’,” Mr Pitts said. He said he felt a “real resentment of anti-terrorism laws that had been passed by this country”. “It certainly doesn’t label him as a terrorism suspect,” he said.

I’d be really shocked if the leftie arts & entertainment world portrayed him as some sort of terrorist, I’m surprised he didn’t say anything about social justice, while he was prattling on. I’d be even more surprised if they put together a play about victims of homicide bombers and portrayed their killers has you know, terrorists, and not as some disenfranchised folks who have some teensy-weensy, shoe-string justification to blow apart a couple of children.
