NT News [Hat-tip KG]- A DARWIN man was beaten in the head with a hammer four times when he went downstairs to defend his wife and three-month old baby from an intruder. The Saturday morning attack was the second break-in at the Malak home in recent months and the family is looking to move as soon as possible. The man, who asked to be referred to as Todd, said his wife was feeding their newborn son when she heard a noise downstairs and woke him at 2.30am on Saturday. “When I came downstairs, he came at me. I thought he was throwing punches, but the next think I knew I was looking through my own blood.” He was later taken to hospital to receive 10 staples and six stitches to his head. Todd wrestled with the intruder but he escaped - only to return 10 minutes later with a star picket. “He was yelling at me through my front door and said he was going to get me,” Todd said.

SMH - A group of good samaritans came to the assistance of a woman who was assaulted and slashed with a knife during an attempted robbery in Sydney’s west last night, and may have scared away the offender, police said. The 21-year-old woman was sitting at a bus stop near Westmead railway station at 8.40pm when she was appraoched by a man in his late 20s. The man produced a knife and then attempted to snatch the woman’s handbag from her lap. In attempting to hold onto the bag, the woman fell to the ground where she was repeatedly kicked and then slashed with the knife, suffering a laceration to her left hand and cuts and bruises to her head and body.

MK - This is the reality of life in this country, most folks out there think that life is all kumbaya and because we banned guns and this ain’t America we’re safe. Sorry folks, that’s not the reality, like I’m always banging on and on like a broken bloody record, you’re just rolling the dice and gettin’ lucky. That father in the first case is so damn lucky that punk didn’t feel like doing something worse to him and his wife and there weren’t more of them down there. He should have gone out and got this bad boy on the right a long time ago and learned to bloody use it, I mean he has a wife and a baby. In my opinion he is the first line of defense, who the hell is supposed to protect them if not him?

If you have a family or a wife, then it’s the man’s duty to protect them, that’s why they’re stronger, it’s even in the Bible, the Lord expects a husband to lay down his life for his wife, and we thought the good Lord was just being old fashioned when he didn’t designate us as “partners”. Now I don’t blame men entirely for this culture of naivety because I know plenty of women who naively insist that they don’t want any weapons in their homes. Well, that’s really warm and fluffy sweetie and I know women have equal rights and all that. But with equal rights comes equal responsibility, so if you won’t have any weapons in the house and your partner has to hang his balls up in the living room, then you gotta waddle your ass down when you hear noises downstairs too.

The reality as I said the other day is that your liberty is in the hands of punks and scumbags, you’re free in your home and your street until someone’s in your home and wants your money on the street. Now those folks in the first story are looking to move and you will also have to if the same thing happens to you, you can stand and fight in your home with the Emerson or the meat cleaver like that father in Melbourne. But if that scumbag decides to come back for you, your home is not the only place where you’ll have to defend your liberty, and there the problem is worse, outside your home, you’re naked, by law you’re not allowed a damn thing apart from picking up rocks and stones, if they happen to be handy.

That punk will be out in a few months and he’ll be back walking the streets looking for you and sooner or later, you’ll read the writing on the wall and change your post code, if you want to keep your teeth. The same thing with that woman who got robbed, if it wasn’t for the folks walking by, she’d be cut up and left for dead. I know you’ll say that she should have handed over the bag and she would have been alright, but what if it happens again and again? How many times does she have to give up what she’s worked for, because nobody is going to refund her stolen money, and what if one day he wants more than just the bag? Leftists and gun-fearing pansies in this country would rather you were beaten to death in your home or stabbed in the street than see you defend yourself with a gun.
