The law is not on your side

Four people have been sentenced for their involvement in the revenge shooting death of NSW Hunter Valley mother Shandele Macey. In the NSW Supreme Court today, Justice Graham Barr jailed Jeremy Michael Hunt - who pulled the trigger - for at least six years and nine months. Ms Macey’s former lover and amphetamine dealer, Brian Andrew Kaiser, 35, was jailed for at least eight years and two months.
Michelle Rowena Rocco, 33, was placed on a five-year good behaviour bond, after pleading guilty to assisting Hunt both before and after the shooting. Ronald Rex Edward Garland, 35, was jailed for five months, after admitting comforting and assisting Hunt after the shooting, knowing he had killed a woman. SMH.
You can’t defend yourself, the crims have knives, guns, bats, bricks, swords, everything. If they get caught, a few years and they’re out early for behaving in jail, back on the dole, living off the law-abiding. I guess the moral of the story is, don’t get shot, what else can you say.
