Valid questions please
November 15, 2007 at 9:38 am | In 2007 Federal Election |SMH - Bob, a professed Liberal voter, said Julia Gillard was a communist, claiming he read that in the rural newspaper The Land, and queried whether she actually owned a skirt. He also said she would end up running the country while Mr Rudd was off in China jabbering in Mandarin and asked why no Australian flag featured on stage during the Labor campaign launch yesterday. Bob also wondered where was the Labor frontbench in place of former Labor prime ministers Gough Whitlam, Bob Hawke and Paul Keating who were all present at the launch. Mr Rudd said he loved the Australian flag and would never change it. “But … I don’t believe that when politicians stand up and are making a direct appeal to the Australian people it necessarily means you have to have the Australian flag wrapped around you on each occasion,” he said.
I personally think most of the ALP are socialists and/or commies, whatever you want to call them, but having said that I think we should leave the clothing and personal bits out of the debate. I really don’t care whether Julia Gillard has skirts or t-shirts or whatever and it’s not a very intelligent question.
His last two questions were valid though, perhaps we have our very own Barrack Hussein Obama here, another leftist who doesn’t seem to care much for the flag or would have us believe his is some sort of nuanced or sophisticated patriotism, sorry Kevin07, some us are too thick to get your convoluted ideas. I’m sure his next appearance will include a flag.
Oh and where are the Labor ministers, it can’t be a one man show Mr. Rudd, I thought you were all about “fresh” ideas, so why bring out the old Labor heroes, are they going to be running the country, after all we’ve seen many a leftist leader having a hard time letting go.

Rudd is a LIAR!! This man is as dangerous as Gillard in his own slimy way. I don’t care what she wears either but if she gets anywhere near the controls, we’re all going to know it.
MK, this is pretty scary.

Don’t forget his candidate in Wentworth, George Pro-Bono? Newhouse was mayor of Waverley when they took the decision not to fly the flag from Bondi Pavilion because it would inflame racial tensions. They got form when it comes to flags.

Just heard on the radio that KRudd’s unsure about the sale of his wife’s business. Remember how she promised to sell it to avoid the conflict of interest, don’t be so sure anymore with this liar.
